Have you ever wondered what happens when a former teacher becomes a receptionist and then decides to start a floral design business?

Well, here I am! My name is Savannah and I am the artist/owner of Beetle Flowers. I taught Social Studies in Las Vegas for two years before moving to St. George to be closer to family and start over. I got so burned out teaching that I needed two more years to recover and find the energy to be creative again.

That’s when I decided to start selling floral arrangements at the farmers’ market. I had taken a floral design class during my undergrad at BYU and had taught my high school and middle school students some floral design as part of extra-curriculars, so I already had the training. And I’ve always been artsy and creative, but never found a way to work it into a career path until now!

If you’ve ever not known what you were doing in life, I’ve been there. If you’ve ever been afraid to follow a dream, I know how you feel! I’m just a girl doing what feels right and chasing inspiration.
